Josh Holloway to Stay Cool

Josh Holloway ("Lost") has joined the cast of the Polish brothers' new comedy, Stay Cool, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Holloway will co-star with Winona Ryder, Mark Polish, Sean Astin, Chevy Chase, Hilary Duff and Jon Cryer.

The project, which shoots this month in Santa Clarita, California, is described as a "knowing-your-age comedy," centering on a successful author (Polish) who is forced to confront an unrequited high school crush, Scarlet Smith (Ryder), when he returns home to deliver a commencement address to graduating seniors.

Holloway will play the former high school jock and ex-boyfriend to Ryder's Scarlet.

Mark and Michael Polish, who wrote the script, are producing with Jonathan Sheldon, Ken Johnson and Janet DuBois via their new Prohibition Pictures. Michael Polish is directing. (source)
